In each of my sessions, I try to focus my practice on the current interests of my client. In this way, I make sure that I keep the children's motivation and attention, I make learning a new language or a new skill something fun and meaningful, and I ensure that they can implement it spontaneously after our session. After identifying the current interests of your children, identify keywords that you can include in a second language. You could start with characteristics (e.g., colors, sizes, smells), or with actions related to specific characters. Finally, make each experience something super special and meaningful. Do not penalize mistakes and instead recognize and value the efforts to learn these new words or skills.
